Consumer Class Actions: Title Insurance

We are currently investigating claims for a potential class action. These claims involve situations in which individuals are incorrectly charged the Original Rate premium for title insurance policies rather than a Reissue Rate.

Reissue Rate premiums are generally applied to title insurance for the purchase of raw or unimproved land; refinanced mortgages or in situations in which the selling party to a transaction had a policy written for the property within three years of the sales transaction.
